You will spend little time now, but you can save time in the future.<\/span><\/h2><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Essential terms and conditions<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Contract<\/u><\/strong> <strong><u>from<\/u><\/strong> <strong><u>rental<\/u><\/strong>. The contract is concluded between the supplier of the Vehicle, as mentioned in the Local Specific Conditions, and You, the person whose name appears in the contract.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Please read the General Rental Conditions and the Specific Local Conditions, both of which are an integral part of your rental agreement.<\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>The vehicle<\/u><\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>AMA Rent A Car must <strong>to provide you with the vehicle equipped with all mandatory safety equipment ('the vehicle'), roadworthy, tax paid and authorized to drive on public roads. In Europe, <\/strong>must <strong>provide vehicles with liability insurance for <\/strong>The driver and the persons in the Ama Rent A Car car are not <strong>third party in this situation and are not covered <\/strong>of this insurance<strong>.<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>You must <\/strong>to return the vehicle and additional products in the same condition as when they were picked up, apart from reasonable wear and tear. Check the vehicle carefully before you leave.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Please ask us to rectify the Vehicle Condition Report if there is unrecorded damage; if the fuel level is wrong; if the vehicle registration, insurance certificates, accident report form or mandatory safety equipment is not in the vehicle.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Period of <\/u><\/strong><strong>You are responsible <\/strong>for the vehicle and additional products during the rental period:<\/span><ol><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The rental period starts when you pick up the vehicle (check-out) and ends when we confirm that we have the keys and the vehicle (check-in).<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>You must <\/strong>return the vehicle during business hours to an Ama Rent A Car agent at the office agreed upon for If you choose to return the vehicle outside of business hours, you must<\/span><\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">operation or if you leave before we pick up the vehicle, do so <strong>at your own risk and you remain responsible until our agents take over the vehicle<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Costs<\/u><\/strong><strong>. It is mandatory to pay <\/strong>the amounts mentioned in the rental contract for the vehicle and for additional products and options purchased during the rental period.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>If you extend the rental period <\/strong>you have to pay for the additional period both the rental costs and the additional options. <strong>You must also pay for theft and damage, professional cleaning, towing, highway fees, parking fees, traffic fines and other penalties, administration and processing fees associated with<\/strong>, if due in accordance with the terms and conditions of the lease.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Vehicle use:<\/u><\/strong><strong> It is compulsory: (i) to take care of the vehicle as a good owner, respecting the instructions for use and to keep it in good working order, (ii) to use <\/strong>the vehicle according to the legislation in force <strong>applicable in the country where you drive<\/strong>, (iii) use the vehicle <strong>according to the law <\/strong>if <strong>for legal purposes<\/strong>, (iv) <strong>to fuel with the correct fuel<\/strong>,<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(v<strong>) to lock <\/strong>the vehicle when not in use and make sure that all windows, hatches, removable panels and hood <strong>are tightly closed<\/strong>, (vi) <strong>to stop <\/strong>immediately use the vehicle, if you can do so safely, and notify us as soon as you notice a problem with the vehicle.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>It is forbidden: <\/strong>(i) <strong>to use <\/strong>the vehicle <strong>for commercial purposes<\/strong>; or for <strong>motorsport (recreational or professional) <\/strong>or associated activities, <strong>off-road, towing another vehicle or a trailer<\/strong>; <strong>carry flammable, explosive, corrosive or combustible materials, other than mineral spirits or similar products permitted by applicable law (or specified in the Local Specific Conditions) and fuel required for the use of the vehicle; <\/strong>(ii) allow any person other than an authorised driver to use the vehicle.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>You can only drive in countries allowed by Ama Rent A Car<\/strong>. If you will be driving a vehicle registered in a Member State of the European Union and you need to travel outside the European Union or you will be driving a vehicle registered in a country that is not a Member State of the European Union and the destination will be a Member State of the European Union, <strong>you're not allowed <\/strong>use the vehicle in a foreign country for longer than the applicable laws allow. Please refer to the Specific Local Conditions, ask your Ama Rent A Car rental agent for more details or consult the customs authorities.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Accident,<\/u><\/strong> <strong><u>theft and <\/u><\/strong> <strong>It is mandatory to notify <\/strong>(i) police <strong>immediately <\/strong>and (ii) the Ama Rent A Car office within <strong>48 hours<\/strong>, if the vehicle has been involved in an accident or damage event, even if no third parties were involved.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If the vehicle is lost, stolen or damaged, it must, to the extent permitted by law, <strong>pay the rental fee stated in the rental agreement, taxes and our damage or theft processing fee (if you have not opted for additional insurance to reduce your rental fee)<\/strong>. <strong>Fransiza will not apply <\/strong>in the circumstances mentioned in section 7.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We will attempt to recover damages and other expenses from responsible third parties if you can prove that the damage, loss or theft was not your fault, willful misconduct, fraud or negligence (to the extent these terms are used in applicable law). To help us, <strong>must <\/strong>provide us with a correctly completed accident report form, including contact information for the other parties involved, within 48 hours of the accident. To the extent permitted by law, <strong>You will pay a fee to cover the costs Ama Rent A Car incurred in contacting you to obtain a correctly completed accident report form.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>No<\/strong> <strong>you are<\/strong> <strong>responsible<\/strong> for loss or damage, if Ama Rent A Car has failed to maintain the vehicle in working order or they are under the manufacturer's warranty.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Options<\/u><\/strong> <strong><u>additional<\/u><\/strong> <strong><u>from<\/u><\/strong> <strong><u>protection<\/u><\/strong><strong>.<\/strong> Additional protection options reduce the amount of financial liability you have to pay if your vehicle is damaged or In Europe, our rates include a basic level of protection options and Ama Rent A Car <strong>will not charge you more than the financial liability stated in the contract plus legal fees (if applicable) and the damage or theft file processing fee, if financial liability does not apply. <\/strong>You can reduce your financial liability even further by purchasing additional protection options.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Financial liability will not apply if the loss or damage is attributable to (i) an intentional or fraudulent act, omission or negligence on your part (to the extent these terms are used by applicable law) or (ii) an intentional violation of the provisions of Section 5 (Use of Vehicle) and Section 6 (Accidents, Theft and Damage).<\/span><\/h2><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>If financial liability does not apply, we shall be entitled to claim loss or damage from you in an amount equal to the extent of the negligence, up to the full amount of the damage or loss suffered or to be suffered (whichever is greater), up to the maximum amount permitted by applicable law.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Fines and sanctions<\/u><\/strong><strong>. It is mandatory to pay parking fines or traffic fines. <\/strong>issued during the rental period and associated with the use of the vehicle. <strong>You must pay our processing fee <\/strong>for the time spent handling these fines and penalties, unless you can prove that no loss or damage has occurred or, if it has, it is much less than the processing fee.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Fuel<\/u><\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>You must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as the vehicle had at pick-up, unless you have purchased the Prepaid Fuel option. If you do not return the vehicle with the same level of fuel<strong>you have to pay <\/strong>fuel used at the 'pay on return' price.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0N<strong>u we reimburse you for unused fuel <\/strong>if you have purchased the Pre-Paid Fuel option, unless you return the vehicle with a full tank, in which case we will refund the amount paid for the Pre-Paid Fuel option<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Drivers<\/u><\/strong> <strong><u>additional<\/u><\/strong> <strong><u>if<\/u><\/strong> <strong><u>passengers<\/u><\/strong><strong>.<\/strong> You are responsible <strong>to make sure <\/strong>that the additional drivers you have added to the rental contract or the passengers you accept in the car comply with the terms and <strong>You are responsible for costs and fees <\/strong>that Ama Rent A Car charges you as a result of an additional driver or passenger not complying with these terms and conditions. <strong>The benefit will not apply if the loss or damage is attributable to (i) an intentional or fraudulent act by the additional driver or passenger, (ii) an omission or negligence (to the extent these terms are used by applicable law), or (iii) an intentional violation of the provisions of Section 5 (Use of Vehicle) and Section 6 (Accidents, Theft and Damage).<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Changes to the rentals<\/u><\/strong><strong> You have to pay <\/strong>any price increase if you change the rental period or exceed the agreed mileage. <strong>You have to pay <\/strong>a removal fee if you return the vehicle to a location other than the one from which you picked it up.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Early returns<\/u><\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>If you return the vehicle and additional products early, you will lose the benefits applied as a result of the special offers, if you no longer meet the conditions for granting them. In this case, the rental may cost you more <strong>No refunds for unused days.<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Late returns<\/u><\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>If not agreed differently, <strong>you must return <\/strong>the vehicle and additional products at the date\/time and location mentioned in the rental contract. If you consider that there will be a delay, it is in your interest to request an extension from the latecomer, <strong>you have to pay another day's rent <\/strong>for the vehicle and additional products, <strong>plus a processing fee <\/strong>for each day\/part of the day of delay.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Prior authorisations<\/u><\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>We block an amount on your payment card in advance. This way, we retain a sufficient amount to ensure that there are funds available, as we will only process the payment at the end of the rental. If you are paying with another card, please note that it may take up to 30 days for the card-issuing bank to release the 'held' money so that you can use it.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Payments<\/u><\/strong><strong>. <\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">When you sign the rental agreement, you agree that we may charge you for all costs incurred as a result of your actions during the rental period, and charge these costs to your credit card.<\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Follow<\/u><\/strong><strong>. Vehicles may be equipped with geo-location systems and tracking devices to locate the vehicle if it is stolen or not returned to the rental office, or to locate a vehicle in case of an accident or <\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Use of personal information.<\/u><\/strong> <strong>We use your personal information <\/strong>to (a) provide rental services to you and (b) determine whether we will provide rental services to you in the future.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>We will provide your personal information, to the extent permitted by law and, if necessary, with your explicit consent, to the following parties:<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><ol><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Ama Rent A Car members<\/strong>located inside and outside Europe, but only to the extent necessary <strong>to provide you with rental services;<\/strong><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>public\/local authorities and companies offering parking services, <\/strong>if they have the right to obtain this information, and the law allows us to do so, or to check the validity of their driving licence.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>third parties <\/strong>acting on our behalf <strong>in the administration of complaints<\/strong>, in <strong>money collection <\/strong>that you owe us and in <strong>making<\/strong> <strong>from<\/strong> <strong>survey<\/strong> <strong>on<\/strong> <strong>satisfaction<\/strong> <strong>customers,<\/strong> that we use to improve the services we offer you.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You have a legal right to access the information we hold about you (we may charge a fee if the law allows us to do so), and, with justification, you may request that personal information be corrected, amended, blocked or deleted. The person who controls the information is the rental service provider mentioned in this rental agreement.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">19)\u00a0 <u>Lost property<\/u>. We will do our best to contact you if we find personal property in the vehicle. Items containing personal or financial information will be destroyed within 28 days, in accordance with our privacy policy and General Rental Conditions. All other property will be disposed of in destroyed within 3 months.<\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Applicable law<\/u><\/strong><strong>. You will find details of the vehicle rental service provider in the rental contract.<\/span><\/p><\/td><td width=\"236\"><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Please read these documents carefully. If this happens, we will try to find you a vehicle from a higher group at no extra cost.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If we can only find you a vehicle from a lower group, and you agree to rent this vehicle, only the value of that vehicle will be retained. In the unlikely event that this happens, we will try to obtain the equipment from another rental office. If this is not possible, we can:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">- Let's buy some new equipment for you.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">- To ask you to buy equipment elsewhere and refund the price paid. You must do your best to find equipment at a reasonable price.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">- To reimburse the cost of the additional product booked in advance.
